Spicy Asian Slaw

Cole Slaw, Asian Style. Our Gochujang sauce adds a complex flavor and just the right amount of spice to get you hooked on this spicy slaw. Great as a side dish for anything…even burgers.

  • 1/2 head green cabbage or Napa cabbage – shredded
  • 1 carrot – shredded
  • 1/2  onion – sliced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1/2 can mandarin orange
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Vinaigrette:

  • 1 tsp Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 TBSP soy sauce
  • 3 TBSP Annie Chun’s Gochujang Sauce (to taste) 
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TBSP sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  1. Combine all vinaigrette ingredients except the oil in a bowl, slowly drizzle in vegetable oil while whisking.
  2. Coat cabbage, carrots, and onion with vinaigrette. 
  3. Garnish with cilantro, mandarin orange, and sesame seeds.

Serves 2-3
