Shrimp and Snow Pea Noodle Stir Fry

A great version of chow mein with shrimp. The onion and snow peas add texture and some crunch. Simple, easy, but always delicious.

  • 1/2 package Annie Chun’s Chow Mein Noodles
  • 5 TBSP of Annie Chun’s Chinese Stir Fry Sauce
  • 3 TBSP cooking oil (canola or vegetable oil)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup of shrimp, shelled
  • 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh snow peas, rinsed and dried

 

  1. Cook noodles as directed.
  2. Rinse with cold water, drain well then set aside.
  3. Heat a stir fry pan over medium high heat.
  4. When pan is hot, add 2 TBSP of oil and garlic.
  5. Cook garlic until fragrant, then increase heat to high and add shrimp.
  6. Stir fry shrimp for about 2-3 minutes, until cooked then set aside.
  7. Add remaining 1 TBSP of oil and briefly stir fry onions and snow peas until tender, but still crisp.
  8. Reduce heat and add in noodles, shrimp, and sauce.
  9. Mix lightly to coat and heat thoroughly.

Serve immediately.
