Flank Steak Chow Mein Noodle Salad

A simple noodle salad dish with flank steak. A “salad” for the steak lovers out there.

  • 1 package of Annie Chun’s Organic Chow Mein Asian Meal Starter
  • 2 TBSP sesame oil (can also use canola or vegetable oil)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup carrots, sliced julienne style
  • 1 cup (8 oz) grilled steak,thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced into wedges
  • 2 TBSP scallions (thinly sliced into long strips)


  1. Cook noodles as directed on package; rinse with cold water and drain well.
  2. Add sesame oil to noodles to keep from sticking
  3. Then add sauce packet, oil packet and remaining ingredients except scallion and lemon to noodles.
  4. Toss until all ingredients are well mixed.
  5. Squeeze lemon over salad and garnish with scallion.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
