Chinese Chicken Noodle Salad with Glazed Walnuts

A great noodle salad with the crunch of romaine and the sweetness of the glazed walnuts. A great recipe that everyone will love.

  • 1 package of Annie Chun’s Organic Chow Mein Asian Meal Starter
  • 2 TBSP vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup walnut halves
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup English cucumber, julienne cut
  • 1 carrot, julienne cut
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 TBSP minced scallions
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, grilled and sliced into strips


  1. Cook noodles as directed; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and cook walnut halves with sugar until caramelized; set aside.
  3. Combine remaining vegetable ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Add chicken and noodles and toss lightly with sauce.
  5. Garnish with walnuts and serve.
