Meals in a Flash

Too busy to start from scratch?  These brand new dinners make a great foundation for sorta-homemade family meals.

1. Craving...Spicy Dumplings
Annie Chun's Spicy Vegetable Mini Wontons ($3.99) have a thin, chewy wrapper on the outside and are stuffed with cabbage, shiitakes, carrots, tummy-filling tofu and brown rice (but no MSG or preservatives!).  Our favorite part: the chile-ginger kick.

Stretch It for 4: Pan-fry the dumplings in vegetable oil with 1 bag frozen asparagus tips, 1 bag frozen broccoli florets and 1 bag frozen shelled edamame; season with a splash of soy sauce and top with crushed peanuts.  Serve on the side: a bag of thawed frozen pineapple, sprinkled with brown sugar and broiled.
